Volunteer transportation services position

Qualified Listeners are seeking volunteer drivers to transport veterans and their family members to medical appointments, events, or other essential destinations. Ride requests are scheduled throughout the week Monday through Friday, for varying lengths and destinations - we drive anywhere from Cheyenne, WY down to the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Aurora, CO and everywhere in between. Our volunteers pick the dates, times, and destinations that are convenient within your schedule! You can use your own personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement available) or be trained on our wheelchair-accessible van. Your role as a Volunteer Driver is especially impactful as you remove transportation barriers for those who do not otherwise have access to transportation. All you need is a valid driver's license, current insurance and a background check (paid for by us). We thrive on helping our veterans in need, and transportation is a big part of what we do - the more volunteers we have, the more rides we can provide for our veterans.
