Help your neighbors; Volunteer for hospice: ORGANIZATION: GENTIVA HOSPICE

Are you interested in making in-person visits? Do you want to help those in your community who have life -limiting illnesses ?

Volunteer opportunities are available at Gentiva Hospice to provide friendly visits to patients at local healthcare facilities in Worcester Country and surrounding areas.

Volunteer are needed who can:

• Play music
• Read to patients
• Help patients video chat/ connect with love ones who are unable to visit them due to travel, health etc.
• Are veterans interested in supporting veterans on hospice
• Are you willing to listen and talk, play a game, or watch a TV show

Volunteer do not need to perform and clinical activities with a patients such as feeding, toileting, bathing or transferring.

. Volunteers receive training that fits into their busy schedule
