Appreciation Artist

Respect MO Voters is seeking someone to help brainstorm, create, and implement small tokens of appreciation that can be rewarded to volunteers in recognition of their hard work.

With a large organizational volunteer movement such as this, it’s critical to show our volunteers that their work matters. People need to feel seen and appreciated for everything they’re doing. Often, this is done in the form of a small gift:

• Uplifting words of praise and gratitude
• Encouraging images created in Canva
• Small tangible items to mark milestone achievements

Responsibilities

• Design and modify campaign graphics as needed
• Coordinate with Program Lead
• Help brainstorm simple appreciation tokens
• Attend Program meetings
• Coordinate with Appreciation Coordinators to know types of rewards and designs to create.
• Creating a Good Vibes Moment for the weekly newsletter
  • Something short,sweet, and uplifting to help boost morale.

Skills Needed

• Basic computer operation skills and an open mind to learn and adapt
• Creative artistic mindset that can convey our message through art
• Previous Canva experience isn’t necessary, but helpful.

Ideal Candidates

• Like creating artwork
• Enjoy making or designing things
• Are comfortable with occasionally-swift deadlines, and specific requests
• Like working behind the scenes to support volunteers and leaders.
• Enjoy celebrating milestones, achievements, and acts of service.
