Volunteer Videographers & Business-Minded Interviewers for Episodic Docu-Series

The Project: The Collective Wealth Series We are currently in pre-production for our newest episodic documentary project: The Collective Wealth Series. This docu-series explores the realities of entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and building sustainable businesses within our communities.

Our goal is to extract real, actionable data and business strategies from successful founders and leaders, packaging it into cinematic, engaging content. We are building a grassroots team of volunteers to help bring this impactful series to life.

About Kollective Kandor: Kollective Kandor is a community-driven, one-stop creative house and social enterprise based in Los Angeles. Our mission is to bridge the gap of access and opportunity for underserved creators of color by providing full production infrastructure. We focus on creating sustainable economic empowerment through high-end branded content, short films, and cinematic marketing campaigns, ensuring that the dollar circulates directly back into our community.

Our goal is to extract real, actionable data and business strategies from successful founders and leaders, packaging it into cinematic, engaging content. We are building a grassroots team of volunteers to help bring this impactful series to life, operating primarily out of the DTLA area.

Open Roles:

1. Volunteer Documentary Videographer / DP

We are looking for sharp, adaptable shooters who know how to capture the authentic, "run-and-gun" aesthetic of modern docu-series while maintaining cinematic quality.

• Responsibilities: Shoot sit-down interviews, dynamic b-roll of entrepreneurs in their element, and behind-the-scenes footage.
• Qualifications: Experience with camera operation and lighting for interviews. Ability to work quickly and collaboratively on set. (Note: We often utilize client or team gear, but owning your own kit is a plus!)

1. Business-Minded Interviewer / On-Camera Talent

This is not a standard hosting gig. We need someone who deeply understands business, startups, and economic strategy to bridge the gap between creative storytelling and actionable data.

• Responsibilities: Conduct high-level, on-camera (or off-camera) interviews with entrepreneurs and founders. You will be responsible for steering the conversation away from surface-level inspiration and diving deep into the actual data, scaling strategies, and financial realities of running a business.
• Qualifications: Strong business acumen, financial literacy, or experience in the startup/entrepreneurial space. Natural charisma, exceptional active listening skills, and the ability to make complex business concepts relatable to the community.
