Grief Support Group Leader for Children & Teens

Help a child find hope. Become a Grief Group Leader. OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center is recruiting for volunteer support group leaders. OUR HOUSE is a nonprofit organization providing grief support services, education, resources, and hope throughout the greater Los Angeles area. We provide support groups for children and adults who have experienced the death of someone close.

Our school volunteers are extraordinary people who make a big difference in the lives of grieving children and teens. They co-lead groups during the day in various schools throughout Los Angeles County. We ask for a one year commitment. Volunteers receive four days of comprehensive training and they receive group supervision once every other week. The average time commitment is about 10-15 hours per month. Daytime availability, during school hours, is required to lead a 10 Week Group in a School in the Greater LA Area.
