    Descripción

Some of the most powerful moments in social movements begin with a single compelling voice in a

room. As a Pro-Truth Pledge Community Speaker and Ambassador, you will represent PTP at local

events, civic organizations, schools, universities, and community forums — sharing why truth and

civility in politics matter and inviting others to join the pledge. This is not about political debate — it is

about inspiring neighbors, students, and community leaders to commit to a higher standard of civic

discourse. If you love public speaking and want to make a direct impact in your community, this role is

    for you.

    What You'll Do:

    • Deliver prepared and impromptu presentations about the Pro-Truth Pledge mission at local community events, civic club meetings, town halls, and public forums
    • Represent PTP at school and university events, speaking to students about misinformation, critical thinking, and the importance of truth in public life
    • Engage audience members in Q&A conversations, addressing questions about the pledge thoughtfully and non-partisanly
    • Distribute PTP materials and guide interested attendees to sign the pledge at in-person events
    • Debrief with PTP staff after each engagement — reporting attendance, audience reception, and new signers

    Qualifications:

    • Confidence speaking to groups of all sizes, from intimate classroom settings to large community gatherings
    • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and accessibly to diverse audiences
    • Non-partisan, respectful communication style — comfortable engaging people across the political spectrum
    • Reliability and commitment to representing PTP professionally and consistently
    • Prior experience with public speaking, debate, teaching, organizing, or advocacy is a plus but not required

    Benefits & What You'll Gain:

    • Develop and sharpen public speaking, presentation, and persuasion skills
    • Build a network of civic leaders, educators, and community organizers in your local area
    • Gain experience as a spokesperson and ambassador for a national nonprofit organization
    • Formal volunteer work record maintained by PTP — a verifiable reference for careers or academia
