Volunteer posting:

The Human Health Project is seeking a motivated, experienced leader with a passion for healthcare to volunteer as Program Director for our Healthcare Access for All initiative.

In this volunteer role, you will serve as the senior accountable leader across multiple program workstreams, collaborating closely HHP team leads, community collaborators, and the HHP members who drive volunteer operations, expansion strategy, and mission outcomes.

This role will act as a trusted advisor and core pillar of leadership, ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple healthcare and educational initiatives.

As program director, you will

• Serve as the primary interface for internal leadership
• Lead briefings, KPI reporting, quarterly optimization reviews, governance discussions, and strategic decision-making forums
• Establish and maintain governance structures, decision frameworks, and operating rhythms
• Oversee development and execution of the Healthcare Access for All program as well as service delivery, operational improvement initiatives, and unification of program strategy
• Facilitate cross functional domain integration, efficiency, and efficacy
• Manage a fluid team of volunteers of diverse specialties and experience
• Define, track, and report KPIs, program targets, service delivery metrics, operational performance measures, and executive-level outcomes
• Use data analytics, dashboards, and performance reporting to inform decision-making and improve program outcomes.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews, performance assessments, risk reviews, and program health evaluations.
• Advances HHP’s mission and Ensure a high level of service with a commitment to changing lives
• Strategically cultivate the program to support fund-raising, grant writing, community development, and other necessary elements for sustainable growth
• Champion inclusion activities, strategies, and initiatives to build relationships within the HHP community and maintain volunteer engagement
• Emphasize empathetic and pragmatic communication for understanding when negotiating and dealing with conflict whether internally or externally
• Provide others with frameworks for making decisions to maximize team efficiency and grow leaders among our volunteers
• Conduct prototypes to support the launching of programs and activities
• Develop plans and manages best practices through engagement of team, and holds volunteers accountable for high-quality results using a formal process to measure progress
• Facilitate change and adaptability while utilizing the functional and technical knowledge and skills required to perform well

In order to ensure success, we ask that you have the following:

• Relevant education in healthcare and/or business leadership
• Direct managerial experience in managing teams, programs, and outcomes at a high level
• Enough free time to commit to our cause in a meaningful manner
