Volunteer for Camp Outlook this summer! NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
Camp Outlook is a completely volunteer run non-profit charitable organization. We are dedicated to providing 13 to 17 year old youth from the Kingston area experiencing social, behavioural, economic, or other difficulties with an opportunity to experience wilderness camping in Algonquin Park. Outlook stands for the worth and potential of these youth and the therapeutic value of wilderness tripping. The core purpose of Outlook is to encourage youth to realize their value as individuals, their abilities, and their potential to achieve.
We are looking for a committed group of trippers for the 2025 Summer season! As a volunteer, you will venture out on three or four 9- or 14-day canoe trips in beautiful Algonquin park. You and your co-staff will be leading canoe trips with youth from Kingston and the surrounding areas. We provide you with room and board from the end of May to the end of August, as well as all necessary training at no cost. No previous tripping experience is necessary. Through our training, volunteers will earn certifications in Wilderness First Aid, Bronze Cross/Medallion, and Mental Health First Aid.
Outlook is as rewarding as it is challenging. You will never forget the summer spent with Outlook, the campers, the staff, the park... Your salary is paid in experience and stories! It's incredible!
