NEW! Adult Group Library Liaison
College Hill Library is visited by many day programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These programs generally visit with 1-2 caregivers/drivers and 5-10 participating adults. Though we are very happy to welcome these groups into our space, their needs can sometimes overwhelm our service staff. The adults often need more individualized support in using our public computers, finding library materials, and doing activities like puzzles and crafts. We believe we could provide better service to these adults and to our entire community with the help of a library liaison volunteer during their peak weekday visit hours.
