We help young people understand the climate crisis through clear storytelling, accessible learning tools, and real‑world action. Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative, organized volunteer to design, launch, and manage crowdfunding campaigns that support Planet Watch’s climate programs. If you enjoy digital storytelling, campaign strategy, and motivating people to take action, this role is a perfect fit.

This is a high‑impact volunteer position: the funds you help raise will directly support youth outreach, climate literacy projects, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• • Develop crowdfunding campaign concepts aligned with Planet Watch’s mission
  • Write compelling campaign copy and create engaging visuals
  • Set fundraising goals and timelines
  • Coordinate campaign promotion across social media, email, and partner networks
  • Track campaign performance and adjust strategy as needed
  • Provide short updates to the team on progress and results
  • Ensure messaging is youth‑friendly, accessible, and mission‑driven

Skills & Experience

• Experience with crowdfunding, fundraising, or digital campaigns
  • Previous use of GoFundMe is a major asset
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills
  • Basic understanding of social media promotion
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage timelines
  • Creative thinking and comfort with trying new ideas
  • Passion for climate education, youth engagement, or social impact

You don’t need to be an expert — enthusiasm and willingness to learn go a long way.

Time Commitment

Flexible — typically 4–6 hours per week, depending on campaign activity. All work is remote
