Position Summary

The Volunteer Enrollment Recruitment Specialist helps Open Doors Academy identify, connect with, and encourage prospective students and families to learn more about the academy and its educational opportunities.

This volunteer will support student recruitment efforts through community outreach, online communication, referrals, and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential students who may benefit from Open Doors Academy.
• Share information about the academy with prospective students and families.
• Conduct outreach through approved community, social media, and online channels.
• Respond to basic questions about programs, enrollment, and admissions.
• Encourage interested students to begin the enrollment process.
• Maintain accurate records of recruitment contacts and follow-ups.
• Build relationships with community organizations and referral partners.
• Follow up with prospective students in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Refer complex admissions or student-service questions to the appropriate academy staff.
• Protect student and family information and maintain confidentiality.
• Participate in recruitment meetings and outreach activities as needed.

Volunteer Commitment

This is an unpaid volunteer position. Hours are flexible and may be performed remotely, based on the volunteer's availability and the needs of Open Doors Academy.

The primary goal is to increase awareness of Open Doors Academy and connect prospective students with the information and resources they need to explore enrollment opportunities.
