AmpleHarvest.org is an award winning nationwide hunger and food waste nonprofit, founded by a CNN Hero, that is looking to grow its Board of Trustees. We are particularly interested in women and minority people outside of the New York region as well as people from Native American communities.
Expertise "buckets" we'd like to fill include PR/Media, Faith (any faith), Gardening expertise, Capacity Building and Hunger (people with food pantry/back experience)
This is different from any other nonprofit you've ever encountered ... take a look at www.AmpleHarvest.org/Closeup and www.AmpleHarvest.org/DefiningTheDifference to see why.
If you are interested in helping to end hunger rather than just feed people, or you want hungry families to benefit from the healthiest food available, you may be interested in us.
Check out a recent talk about our new Indian Country program at www.AmpleHarvest.org/FRAC for a more in-depth look at how we approach and solve problems.
Then lets talk.
Thank you for your interest in potentially helping AmpleHarvest.org.
It would be helpful if you could also provide us with your LinkedIn url.
Thank you
