    Quality Assurance (QA) Lead

    Volunteer Position Title: QA Lead

    Reports to: QA Manager or Development Manager

    Location: Remote (WFH)

    Volunteer Position Overview:

    As a QA Lead at Menzies Philanthropic Foundation, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process for our My Source Network platform. You'll lead a team of QA professionals, coordinate testing efforts, and work closely with development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers and testers

    • Develop and implement QA strategies, processes, and best practices

    • Coordinate testing efforts across multiple projects and releases

    • Review and approve test plans, test cases, and test results

    • Manage defect tracking and resolution processes

    • Collaborate with product managers and development leads to define quality standards

    • Provide regular status reports to stakeholders on QA activities and metrics

    • Participate in release planning and risk assessment

    • Drive continuous improvement in QA methodologies and tools

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

    • 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

    • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices

    • Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems

    • Familiarity with both manual and automated testing approaches

    • Understanding of Agile development methodologies

    • Excellent leadership and team management skills

    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

    • Interest in holistic healing and wellness is a plus
