Overview
Girls Save The World™ (GSTW) Global Youth Summit is a two-day leadership and innovation experience designed to activate the next generation of purpose-driven girls and youth allies from across the country. Powered by Independence Gardens and Conscious Capital Foundation, the Summit brings together students, educators, innovators, and community leaders to collaborate, build prototypes, and amplify sustainable impact.
We are recruiting volunteers who are excited about youth empowerment, STEAM learning, innovation, event operations, and leadership development.
Volunteer Roles May Include:
- Registration & Check-In Support
- Summit Wayfinding & Guest Experience
- Prototype Lab Support
- Innovation Hub Support
- Classroom/Workshop Support
- Media & Photography Assistants
- School & District Liaison Support
- Sponsor & Partner Hospitality
- Event Set-Up/Tear-Down Crew
Assignments will be based on availability, skills, and Summit needs.
Dates Needed
- Tuesday, April 21 — Wednesday, April 22, 2026
- Volunteers may select single-day or multi-day shifts.
Requirements
To support the safety of all student participants, all volunteers are required to complete a background check.
✔ You will receive a secure link to complete the background check after registration
✔ Clearance must be completed prior to Summit volunteer shifts

How to Register
Interested volunteers will complete a brief online form.
After approval, volunteers will receive:
- Volunteer shift scheduling link
- Background check link
- Onboarding + training instructions

All volunteers who interact directly with youth must complete a background check prior to participating in the Girls Save The World Global Youth Summit.
This process is required for all adult volunteers (18+) and typically takes a minimum of two weeks to complete. Volunteers are encouraged to submit their background check request as early as possible to ensure approval before the event.
Individuals who have not completed and cleared their background check by the deadline will be reassigned to non–youth-facing roles or may not be permitted to volunteer onsite.
A background check link will be sent via email for completion.
