Connect the food that already exists with the people who need it.
What You'll Do
• Reach out to restaurants, grocery stores, caterers, food companies and chefs
• Secure donated meals, food, beverages, catering, ingredients and gift cards
• Coordinate food support for youth programs, community events and volunteers
• Help feed families, seniors, veterans, first responders and people experiencing homelessness
Who This Is For
Restaurant industry professionals, chefs, food service staff, grocery employees, food rescue volunteers, and anyone comfortable walking into a restaurant and making the ask.
Time Commitment
Flexible. 2 to 5 hours per month. Fully remote.
Why It Matters
Nobody hears a word you say when they are hungry. Food is where prevention begins.
About Voices of Variety
Voices of Variety (VOV) is a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2007 by Jasen Brown. Our work is prevention. We create positive outlets — sports, music, the skilled trades, entrepreneurship, mentorship, adventure and community service — so that violence and crime never get their opening.
