Short Description:
Join the Junior Leadership Academy- JLAM in Medellín and live a life-changing experience. As a volunteer, you will be part of sports, cultural, and educational activities that empower at-risk youth. We don’t provide accommodation, but we do offer an experience filled with purpose, mentorship, and community.
What you’ll do:
- Facilitate recreational or sports activities.
- Support socio-emotional workshops.
- Contribute to community events.
- Inspire others with your cultural and professional background.
What’s included in the program fee:
- Orientation and training.
- Guidance and supervision.
- Materials and resources for activities.
- Certificate of Participation and Letter of Recommendation.
- Direct donation to JLAM’s impact.
*What’s not included: Accommodation, meals, or transportation.
Duration: Flexible, from 1 week up to 3 months.
Impact: More than 100 young people reached in 2024, +300 volunteer hours. Each volunteer multiplies hope and youth leadership in Medellín.
