    POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Chapter Operations is considered a Leadership position and reports directly to the Chief of Staff. The Director shall act as the head of the Department of Chapter Operations and may determine certain procedures, functions, and positions within the limitations of the Bylaws. The Director oversees all state, local, high school, and university chapters.

This role serves as a strategic bridge between grassroots organizing and national leadership. The Director ensures consistent communication with chapters, provides mentorship and political guidance to chapter leaders, and tracks chapter performance to report regularly to both the administrative and leadership teams.

In addition to operational responsibilities, the Director is tasked with building and managing a team of organizers or regional leads as the department scales. This includes recruiting new chapter leaders, enforcing compliance with bylaws, resolving intra chapter conflicts, and advocating for the adequate resourcing of chapters based on their needs.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    • Manage and oversee the day to day operations for all chapters and districts of the organization.

    • Assist in the development of the foundations of newly formed chapters, in alignment with the organization's priorities.

    • Develop and provide a retroactive strategy based on the needs of each newly formed chapter of the organization.

    • Work with the Director of Budgeting and Fundraising to develop and provide input on chapter budgets, including input on the amount of funds allocated to specific chapters, and provide the director with regular chapter fundraising updates.

    • Work with the Director of Communications to develop and provide the various chapters of the organization with regular messaging guides and or support.
