TITLE: Volunteer (Or NonPaid Internship) Researcher 2-3 hrs/wk for Democracy & Planet Protecting Nonprofit

Who We Are:

We are a NextGeneration (game-changing) Movement Organizing/Mobilizing Platform in production called WiseCourage, which will be comprised of two game-changer progressive web apps and one other tool already proven to be able to catalyze moral courage at scale (hence highly essential for nonviolent resistance strategy-based campaigns)

These apps are URGENT, because, based on the best research as to the best most winnable strategy required to have the best chance to end fascist regimes, 1) our innovative organizing/mobilizing tools will be absolutely essential to achieve that strategy. Similarly they are urgent and essential to prevent the worst of the now predicted catastrophic climate collapse scenarios now horrifically accelerated by the Trump Regime. 2) TMK no other activist techies are working on developing such tools. Here is the short one pager describ the the three tools that comprise the platform. We believe that if successful, we will be pioneering (with your help) the highest best use of technology for humanity and the planet--tech able to save democracy and stop the rapidly progressing ecocide. These tools are called AdoptAnOrganizer, or AAO which will be a far better alternative than GoFund Me for people in meaningless jobs who have a burning desire to instead become organizers to fight injustice. MAMA (mutual aid for Mass Actions), a robust massively funded mutual aid system to enable de facto General Strikes, and the already proven WiseCourage tool able to catalyze moral courage at scale—to recruit massive numbers of citizens willing to commit to nonviolent resistance.

DUTIES:

• Followup very short calls to verify receipt of our emails (ie after people have been emailed) simply to verify if they received our emails (and that they did not go into spam) & that we had their correct email address, and phone
• Also verify their preferred social media handle if they prefer social media.
• Finding out and noting if the person called has any questions (if they read the email) or ccritiques (eg too long or too vague, etc)
• Usually there will be no answer (since your normally are calling very busy people). So you will then just leave an sms if calling a cel, otherwise a vm. We provide the scripts for everything you need. So you never have to worry about being put on the spot
• Noting your results in a google sheet (in the "followup History" column. This sheet will already has the info on the person you called

You would be calling on average only 4-6 people every other day.

These would be devoted activist players in the US ( organizers, thought leaders, funders, influencers) or authors, reporters, colleagues, who might know these people.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Dependability

Commitment to the causes—saving democracy and the planet

HOURS: Weekdays, but totally flexible, within working hours, ideally any time from 10am-3pm and/or around 5-6pm their time (usually they are East coast or West Coast)

COMPENSATION:

Volunteer, but you would be among the first to start being paid as soon as we are able to raise more funding. We’ve now raised $40k, but all of that is for the programmers and the designer (a third of what they usually charge). The founder/Exec Director is also working without pay. But very soon we could start paying you at least $9-12/hr

You would be working directly with the founder.
