Creative Media for Conservation: Digital Marketing, Graphic Design & Illustration

Are you a visual storyteller, a digital strategist, or an artist who wants to use your talents for a greater cause? Semillas Life is looking for passionate Creative Volunteers to help us give a voice to the Peruvian Amazon. In the remote region of Codo del Pozuzo, our mission is to protect the rainforest and empower its people—and we need your help to share that mission with the world.

As a volunteer, you will have the unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects that range from global education to digital growth.

How You Will Contribute:

• Illustration & Graphic Design (Educational Series): You will play a vital role in the creation of a new series of educational books. These books are designed to teach children and communities about global culture, world history, planetary care, and the power of kindness. Your art will bring these important lessons to life!
• Digital Marketing & Growth: Help us expand our global reach by managing and optimizing Google Ads and YouTube Ads campaigns. You will also help curate our daily presence on Instagram, Facebook, and Google Business to attract supporters and volunteers.
• Visual Storytelling: Capture the "heart" of our projects through photography and short-form video (Reels/TikToks) during jungle treks, medical clinics, and community events to build our media library.

What We Look For

• A Creative & Strategic Mind: Whether you are an expert in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator) or a data-driven marketer, you are passionate about using your skills for social good.
• Technical Skills: Experience with digital advertising platforms (Google/YouTube Ads) or a strong portfolio in illustration and layout design.
• A Global Perspective: You resonate with our values of planetary care and kindness and want to help translate these values into educational content.

Full Commitment & Participation Details

Flexible Participation Models: We believe that creativity knows no borders. To accommodate different lifestyles and travel possibilities, we offer three ways to volunteer:

• 100% Remote: Contribute your skills in graphic design, illustration, or digital marketing from your own home, anywhere in the world. We coordinate via weekly video calls and messaging.
• Hybrid (Remote-to-Field): Begin supporting our projects and the educational book series remotely to get to know our mission, and then join us in person at our base in Codo del Pozuzo, Peru, when you are ready.
• In-Person (Amazon Base): Join us directly in the rainforest for a fully immersive experience. Your days will be a mix of creative work and exploring the incredible biodiversity of our reforestation sites.

Working Hours:

• Flexible Schedule: We do not have fixed "clock-in" hours. Whether you are managing Google Ads or illustrating our book series, we work with you to set weekly goals that fit your personal schedule.
• Duration: We suggest a minimum commitment of 4–8 weeks to ensure you can see your creative projects (like a specific book chapter or an ad campaign) through to completion.
