Do you feel that your life seems to have a greater purpose when you volunteer you time and your heart to help others ? Volunteer opportunities are available at Gentiva Hospice to provide friendly visits to patients and/or their families. at local health care facilities of in their personal home in the area of Worcester County /Auburn. Volunteers are there to listen and talk, read a book, play games or what a favorite T.V show. Volunteers also provide special support including music or working on craft projects. No matter what your skill talent or motivation we have an opportunity for you to help !

• Companionship Volunteers do not perform and clinical activities with a patient such as feeding, toileting , bathing, or transferring.
• Volunteers schedule schedule their own visits - day/time.
• Volunteers receive training
