The Lupus Research Alliance is seeking volunteers to support the 2026 New York Walk with Us to Cure Lupus on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Intrepid Museum in New York City.
Volunteers will assist with event setup, participant registration and check-in, wayfinding, refreshments, and general event support. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who want to give back to their community, gain event experience, and support a meaningful cause.

Volunteer shift: Approximately 7:00 AM–12:00 PM
Walk begins: 9:30 AM
Event concludes: 11:00 AM
The Lupus Research Alliance is the world's leading private funder of lupus research. By volunteering, you'll help support our mission to improve treatments and find a cure for lupus while creating a welcoming and inspiring experience for participants and their families.

The Intrepid Museum is located at Pier 86, W 46th Street and 12th Avenue, New York, NY 10036. and is easily accessible by public transportation from Grand Central Terminal. From Grand Central Terminal, take the M42 crosstown bus westbound along 42nd Street to the west side of Manhattan. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop. Additional check-in details will be provided before the event.
