Board meetings will be held every other month 4:00 – 6:00 pm, and committee meetings will be held at regularly scheduled times as agreed upon by the committee. Time commitment is typically 3 - 4 hours a month, depending on committee meetings

Descripción
MSS is a private, non-profit agency established in 1949, providing day and employment supports to people with disabilities throughout the Twin Cities metro area. We are seeking 2 candidates to join our Board of Directors this Fall. Ideal candidates will possess strengths in one or more of the following areas:
- Human Resources and Talent Recruitment — experience shaping organizational culture, hiring practices, or workforce development.
- Arts and Creative Community Engagement — involvement in arts organizations, creative industries, or partnerships that support artistic expression.
- Fundraising, Development, or Grant Writing — familiarity with donor engagement, nonprofit fundraising strategies, or securing grant funding.
- Legal Expertise — experience in nonprofit law, governance, compliance, contracts, or risk management.
- Disability or Employment Services Experience — personal or professional insight into disability services, inclusive employment, or advocacy.
