As our PASS Representative, you’ll play an important role in providing rehoming assistance for pet owners that reach out to the Positive Alternatives to Shelter Surrender (PASS) Program.

Team: PASS

Location: Remote/Virtual - Virtual from anywhere, understanding we are in the CST time zone.

Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/week

Compensation: This is a Volunteer Position with no monetary compensation.

Reports to: PASS Director

Works with: Community pet owners, PASS team, Animal Operations volunteers

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide resources to community members who may need assistance with temporary placement for their pet(s)

• Utilize a case management approach to working with the community

• Communicate with pet owners in the PASS program

• Provide personalized support for those that need assistance

Skills and Qualifications best suited for this position:

• Professional and empathetic attitude

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Proficiency with Gmail and G-Suite applications

• Fluency in English; bilingual a plus!

• Ability to operate a computer or mobile device

• The following activities are required:

• The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.

• Must not have conflicting associations with similar non-profit organizations or business(es) related to animal welfare.
