Membership Chair (elected)

Oversees Las Vegas ICO membership and volunteer recruitment

• Maintain and update Idealist.org volunteer opportunities with open positions
• Identify new sources for recruitment
• Manage communication with new and pending volunteers
  • Follow-up emails and phone calls to gauge interest & answer questions
  • Send invites to New Member Orientation, Outdoor Leadership Training, ICO meetings and other
• Organize periodic New Volunteer Meet and Greet
• Compile and distribute Member Packets; Application, Code of Ethics, Volunteer Agreement, etc.
• Receive and track new members' applications, schedule background checks
