Volunteer Opportunities for our 19th Annual Step UP for Virginia Down Syndrome's 5K and Family Festival on October 11, 2025.
Volunteer opportunities are available to join the Virginia Down Syndrome Association as we unite for a common cause and raise funds during the 19th Annual Step UP for Down Syndrome 5K & Family Festival!
Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does, or just want to show your support, take the first step and volunteer by donating your time today!
Many volunteers are needed to support this event, including before, during and after the festivities.
Volunteers age 15 and older on the day of their shift are welcome to sign up.
All volunteers interacting with our participants on Saturday will receive a free T-shirt.
Please make sure the shifts you sign up for do not overlap intimes. Please create a separate sign up for each person, so we have all the names and contact information.
Help us spread the word and celebrate all the amazing individuals with Down syndrome!

Where: Dorey Park 2999 Darbytown Road, Henrico, VA 23231 and The Virginia Capital Trail.
