Front Office help

Smith Medical Clinics is seeking friendly, dependable Front Office Volunteers to help welcome and assist patients at our free medical clinics.

Our Front Office Volunteers are often the first friendly face our patients see and play an important role in making sure each visit gets off to a smooth start.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and respectful manner
• Checking patients in according to clinic procedures and protocols
• Answering patient questions and helping direct them to the appropriate person when needed
• Reviewing and entering patient information accurately into the electronic health record
• Making sure each patient's electronic chart is complete and ready for the nurse and provider
• Working closely with other volunteers and staff to help keep the clinic running smoothly

No medical experience is necessary — training is provided!
