Fundraiser & Individual Giving Coordinator

Role Overview

The Fundraiser will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising initiatives that inspire individuals, businesses, and communities to give. This includes supporting campaigns, events, and appeals through strong messaging and creative outreach. The ideal candidate will combine relationship-building skills with compelling written communication to drive results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support online and in-person fundraising activities, including events, campaigns, and appeals
• Assist with promotions and marketing of fundraising efforts, ensuring consistent branding and messaging
• Write compelling and emotional appeals, stories, and donor communications that highlight the impact of our mission
• Help solicit donations from individuals, businesses, and community partners
• Collaborate with volunteers to design creative fundraising strategies
• Track fundraising activities and outcomes to support reporting and evaluation

Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create emotional and persuasive content
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in engaging with donors and community members in-person and online
• Knowledge of digital fundraising tools, social media, and marketing platforms a plus
• Creativity, initiative, and attention to detail
• Prior fundraising, sales, marketing, or nonprofit experience preferred but not required
