Position Summary

The Junior Recruiter supports the recruitment team by helping identify, communicate with, and coordinate candidates for volunteer and organizational opportunities. This role provides hands-on experience in recruiting, candidate communication, and human resources within a growing nonprofit organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reviewing applications and resumes.
• Help identify and communicate with potential candidates.
• Coordinate candidate interviews and follow-ups.
• Send recruitment emails and provide candidates with position information.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documents.
• Assist with posting and promoting available opportunities.
• Support the Senior Recruiter with recruitment projects and initiatives.
• Provide timely updates to candidates regarding their application status and next steps.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling candidate information.
• Perform additional recruitment duties and special assignments as directed by leadership.
