Virtual Hospitals Africa is looking for a passionate volunteer to lead our fundraising and development efforts as we scale our impact to connect millions of Africans to health care.
About Us
We are a non-profit addressing a vital healthcare gap in rural Africa. Our telemedicine platform links frontline workers with global specialists, enabling continuous care, early risk detection, and improved patient outcomes.
The Role
You will spearhead our fundraising strategy and build sustainable revenue streams to support our mission of delivering healthcare to underserved communities across Africa.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive fundraising strategies, including grants, major gifts, corporate partnerships, and individual giving 💰
- Build and nurture relationships with foundations, bilateral agencies, and international development organizations ✨
- Craft compelling proposals and impact reports that bring our mission to life 📝
- Work with an incredible international team of healthcare innovators, technologists, and changemakers 🌍
- Drive sustainable growth in a supportive, mission-driven environment 🚀

Qualifications
- Proven experience in nonprofit development, with focus on international programs
- Track record of securing major grants from foundations and bilateral agencies
- Experience with global health, African contexts, or healthcare access initiatives
- Strong network within the international development community
- Excellence in proposal writing and donor stewardship
