As part of the afterschool programs, we provide van transportation to our youth members from their school to the clubhouses. We are looking for help for two hours per day on school days to drive from the Clubhouse to the school and back again.
We would need you to be confident driving 15 passenger vans that we only put 8 youth in so special licensing is not required.
We have locations in Carmel Valley, Encinitas, Solana Beach and Oceanside. Needs and times that volunteers are needed vary based on location. When you express interest, we can provide more details. We would prefer volunteer drivers to be available several times a week, but we are willing to work with your schedule as much as is realistic. The ability to commit to at least 3 months of driving is desirable
A review of the volunteer's driving record as well as background check and fingerprinting will be required along with signing a waiver and the code of conduct along with the 45-minute online training.
