Living Hope Farm is hosting a "Bring Your Own Tools" volunteer day. We're calling on community members to help us tackle essential maintenance and repair projects around the farm.
We need your help repairing greenhouses, fixing sheds, and mending fences – the backbone structures that keep our farm operations running smoothly. Whether you're handy with repairs, skilled at problem-solving, or just eager to learn and lend a hand, we'd love your help.
What to expect: Projects will include greenhouse repairs (replacing panels, fixing frames), shed maintenance (patching roofs, replacing boards, securing doors), and fence mending (re-stringing wire, replacing posts, reinforcing gates). We'll have a variety of repair tasks suitable for different skill levels.
What to bring:
Work gloves
Your tools – especially hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, wire cutters, drills, saws, etc.
Water bottle
Sun protection and weather-appropriate clothing
Safety glasses if you have them
What we'll provide:
Guidance and project coordination
Some shared tools and supplies
Hardware and materials for repairs
