Caring Volunteers Needed for Hospice Patients in the Beaumont Area

Enhabit Hospice is seeking compassionate, patient, and caring volunteers that are committed to donating their time to care for our patients. Our patients need someone to share their final days with and we want people with a calming, understanding nature to provide companionship. You would spend time with the patients talking, listening, playing games or anything the patient would want to do.

The volunteer schedule would be based on your availability. Your first visit would be a "meet & greet", with your volunteer coordinator or another member of the Enhabit staff to accompany you for introductions to the family and patient. From there, we would coordinate a schedule for your visits. That way, all persons involved will be aware of when you will be visiting.

We want our patientsl, families as well as our volunteers to feel completely comfortable with each other as this is the best way to build the patient/volunteer relationship.

Our volunteers are a very valuable part of our mission and everything our volunteers do matters to us and our patients.
