Position Overview

Sync with God is seeking a talented and mission-minded volunteer Graphic Designer who desires to create compelling visual content that communicates our message of spiritual growth, discipleship, and intimacy with God. The ideal candidate is both creative and organized, with a passion for using design to inspire and engage people through digital media.

This individual will develop graphics for social media, online courses, websites, email campaigns, digital resources, and promotional materials that support the mission and vision of Sync with God.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Visual Content Creation

• Design high-quality graphics for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital channels.
• Create visual assets for online courses, mentoring programs, and discipleship resources.
• Develop promotional graphics for events, webinars, workshops, and ministry campaigns.
• Design digital workbooks, e-books, PDFs, presentations, and downloadable resources.
• Create website graphics, banners, landing page visuals, and email marketing graphics.
• Produce branded visual content that aligns with the Sync with God identity and mission.

Brand Management

• Maintain a consistent visual brand across all platforms and materials.
• Assist in refining and expanding brand guidelines.
• Ensure all designs communicate a professional, welcoming, and spiritually encouraging message.

Collaboration

• Work closely with ministry leaders, content creators, and marketing team members.
• Translate ministry concepts, teachings, and campaign goals into visually compelling designs.
• Participate in planning discussions and contribute creative ideas for outreach and engagement.

Project Management

• Manage multiple design projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Organize and maintain digital design files and brand assets.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Required

• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or similar design tools.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital graphic design skills.
• Experience creating social media graphics and digital marketing materials.
• Excellent visual, typography, and layout skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Alignment with the mission and values of Sync with God.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience working with Christian ministries, churches, nonprofits, or faith-based organizations.
• Knowledge of online learning platforms and course design.
• Basic video graphic or motion graphic experience.
• Familiarity with website builders such as WordPress, Squarespace, or Webflow.
• Understanding of social media engagement and digital marketing best practices.
