💻 Volunteer Opportunity: Software Engineering Mentor

Outcome School is seeking experienced software engineers and technology professionals to mentor students preparing for careers in software development.

As a volunteer mentor, you will:

• Be matched with Outcome School students who will become your mentees

• Meet with students virtually from anywhere

• Choose appointment times that work with your schedule

• Complete a minimum of four mentoring appointments each month

• Share practical industry knowledge, career advice, and professional guidance

• Review student projects, code, portfolios, résumés, and career goals

• Help students prepare for internships, technical interviews, and employment opportunities

Who We’re Looking For:

✅ More than five years of professional software engineering experience

✅ Experience in frontend, backend, full-stack, mobile, cloud, DevOps, or a related field

✅ A passion for supporting and developing emerging technology talent

✅ The ability to provide practical, constructive, and encouraging feedback

✅ A commitment to meeting consistently with assigned mentees
