Trail Cleanup and Maintenance at Southwest Area Park

Join Green Trust Alliance for a trail maintenance and trash cleanup event at Southwest Area Park in Brooklyn, MD! Volunteers will help clean up litter and spread wood chips along the fishing trail near the boat ramp to improve access and enhance the park for the community and local wildlife. This is a great opportunity to make a direct impact while enjoying time outdoors and connecting with others who care about protecting our local environment.

Please wear sturdy shoes (preferably waterproof or water-resistant) and dress appropriately for the weather. Tools, gloves, water and snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring additional tools, water, or snacks if you would like. If you have a wheelbarrow that you are able to bring, that would be incredibly helpful.
