Are you 55 or older and eager to make a tangible impact in your community? The Onondaga County AmeriCorps Seniors Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) invites you to put your skills, wisdom, and life experience to work for a cause you care about.
Volunteers in our area support a variety of critical needs, including:
- Befriend a nursing home resident
- Conversation Partner for someone learning English
- Data entry for free tax prep program
- Teach basic technology classes to other seniors
- Package and deliver meals to those in need.
- Stock shelves at a food pantry
- More opportunities added regularly!
