    Volunteer with Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

    Are you 55 or older and eager to make a tangible impact in your community? The Onondaga County AmeriCorps Seniors Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) invites you to put your skills, wisdom, and life experience to work for a cause you care about.

    Volunteers in our area support a variety of critical needs, including:

    • Befriend a nursing home resident
    • Conversation Partner for someone learning English
    • Data entry for free tax prep program
    • Teach basic technology classes to other seniors
    • Package and deliver meals to those in need.
    • Stock shelves at a food pantry
    • More opportunities added regularly!
