Active Board Members Wanted

Help For Homelessness and Help For Homelessness and Beyond Inc. (HHB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving under-resourced youth, families, and survivors of domestic violence in Inkster/Detroit, Michigan and Columbus, Ohio. Programs include youth workforce development and apprenticeship training, a youth basketball and tutoring program, community food pantry services, holiday givebacks, and transitional housing for youth aging out of foster care. Named Best NonProfit 2025 at the OhioMBE Awards.

We're expanding our Board of Directors as the organization grows. This is a working board for a grassroots nonprofit — members roll up their sleeves on strategy, fundraising, and community leadership, not just governance, for our new apprenticeship school.

Expectations: meeting frequency monthly 2. term length:2 years with option to renew. 3. Give/Get amount of $250.00. 4. Active fundraising participation and community ambassadorship.
