Holiday Toy Drive Committee Volunteers Needed

Assistant Chairperson & Initiative Leaders

Children Across America is seeking dedicated volunteers to join our Holiday Toy Drive Committee and help bring joy, hope, and support to children and families during the holiday season.

We are currently looking for an Assistant Chairperson and several Committee Leaders to help plan, organize, and drive this important community initiative.

About the Opportunity

Our Holiday Toy Drive helps ensure that children in underserved communities experience the excitement and dignity of receiving gifts during the holiday season. This committee will play a key role in organizing toy collection efforts, engaging community partners, coordinating volunteers, and helping distribute donations to families in need.

Volunteer Roles Needed

Assistant Chairperson

The Assistant Chairperson will help support the overall planning and coordination of the Toy Drive, work closely with Children Across America leadership, assist with committee meetings, help track progress, and provide leadership support throughout the campaign.

Committee Leaders

We are also seeking volunteers to lead key areas of the initiative, such as:

• Toy collection and donation drives
• Business and community partnerships
• Volunteer coordination
• Marketing and outreach
• Donation tracking and logistics
• Event or distribution support

Ideal Volunteers

We are looking for people who are organized, dependable, community-minded, and excited to help children and families. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience or interest in nonprofit work, event planning, community outreach, fundraising, volunteer management, marketing, or project coordination.

Time Commitment

This is a seasonal volunteer opportunity leading up to the holiday season. Committee members should be available for occasional planning meetings and follow-through on assigned responsibilities. Some work may be completed remotely, with possible in-person support needed for collection or distribution activities.
