About Food For All
Food For All’s mission is to provide food assistance to people who are food insecure, offer meaningful civic engagement for volunteers, and build bonds of solidarity with like-minded organizations in the Washington, D.C. region.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and support day-to-day program operations
- Lead and coordinate volunteers during distribution and packing shifts
- Help ensure programs run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule
- Address challenges in real time, including volunteer coordination and problem-solving
- Support ongoing improvements to program processes
What We’re Looking For
- Prior leadership or program management experience
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to supervise and support volunteers effectively
- Comfortable handling conflict and making decisions in real time
- Adaptable, responsible, and dependable
- Experience with food distribution or community-based organizations preferred
- Enjoys early mornings and a hands-on environment
Scheduling & Flexibility
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Requires availability during early morning program hours
- Some flexibility depending on scheduling needs
