Teach ESL to Refugee Adults (Virtual)

Help us provide ESL instruction for our wonderful refugee clients. Volunteers are needed to provide English instruction for refugee adults and to assist the CCFW staff instructor with teaching ESL. This instruction will take place via Zoom. Online training and observation time is provided for volunteers who would like to serve with us. All materials and lesson plans are also provided. No teaching background required.

Shifts available - Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 10:00 am; Monday and Tuesday, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm; Wednesday - Saturday, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm; Monday - Saturday, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Volunteer requirements:

• Able to access Zoom application on your electronic device using a cell phone, computer, or tablet (with internet access), working microphone, and camera
• Attend a Volunteer Orientation
• Complete volunteer paperwork and pass a background check
• Willing to serve at least three months with the opportunity to serve long term
• Able to commit two or more hours per week (same days and time each week)
