Community Dining @ KAWABE MEMORIAL HOUSE – Kitchen & Dining Room Volunteer Help Needed!
LOCATION: Kawabe Memorial House, 221 18th Ave S, Seattle
SUMMARY:
Kitchen Volunteers – Help the chef prepare and plate meals for the senior community.
Dining Room Volunteers – Serve lunches, prepare take-out meals, and general cleanup.
SCHEDULE:
Kitchen: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays 9am – 12pm. Choose any day(s)
Dining Room: Monday thru Friday 10:30am – 1pm. Choose any day(s)
Requirements:
- Minimum 18 years old.
- Criminal Background check (completed by Kawabe)
- Acknowledgement of required policies
- Food Worker Card (approx 2 hr online course)
Qualifications: Looking for people who are friendly and interested in making persons feel welcome. No experience required!
Benefits: a free hot lunch on the day you volunteer.
