Overview
Data Entry Clerk supports Philly Peace in Progress by accurately entering, organizing, and maintaining program, volunteer, and community data. This role ensures our records are up‑to‑date, reliable, and accessible so our team can deliver high‑quality services to youth, families, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update participant, volunteer, and program data into organizational databases and spreadsheets
- Review information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Maintain digital filing systems and organize documents for easy retrieval
- Assist with generating reports, attendance logs, and data summaries
- Flag missing, unclear, or duplicate information for follow‑up
- Support administrative tasks such as scanning, uploading, and labeling files
- Protect confidentiality and follow all data‑handling procedures
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, forms, and digital records
- Ability to follow structured processes and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
