Friendly Visitor Volunteer for Lonely Senior in Fountain Valley

Meals on Wheels OC is looking for a friendly visitor volunteer for a lonely senior in Fountain Valley. As a friendly visitor, you visit in the home of the older adult and offer conversation, friendship, and understanding. A commitment of one hour per week is all that is expected, but it will mean the world to this senior. She is looking for someone who is able to walk with her and chat. She likes to talk about books, movies and sports.

As a volunteer you will be a part of SeniorServ, who provides meals on wheels and other services for over 900 homebound seniors in Orange County, to help seniors remain as independent as possible. SeniorServ's mission is to nourish the wellness, purpose, and dignity of seniors and their families in our community. The Friendly Visitor Program is an important part of that mission.
