Office/Admin Hospice Volunteer needed in our Tigard Office

We are looking for office volunteers to join our admin team! This opportunity is at our primary office in Tigard. We are flexible - you can choose when to come in for a 2-4-hour shift (Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm).

You are dependable and find meaning in knowing you are part of important work by volunteering your valuable time to an organization that supports those at the end of their life. We serve patients and families throughout the Portland and Salem areas. You will work with the admin team and other admin volunteers with various tasks that benefit those we serve. This work of service for those at the end of their life is meaningful and rewarding.

Tasks may include assembling packets, binders and training materials, vigil kit assembly, preparing patient or volunteer mailings, data entry, maintaining form wall, help with art projects and supplies, organizing patient music inventory, assisting office staff with special projects. We are also looking for help developing special programs such as Legacy Projects, Memorial Service, and holiday specific celebrations.

The first step is to contact me and meet and talk about hospice and what volunteering entails. We follow all CMS/CDC/State guidelines on safety, testing, and background/driver checks.
