Volunteer Hairstylists Needed

Hello! Are you a licensed hairstylist looking to give back? We are looking for licensed hair care experts with a heart for Hospice.

Terminal Illness can seriously impact a person’s life, especially those who are in the end stages. Many of our patients and their loved ones find it difficult or impossible to maintain their hair the way they did before they became a Hospice patient.

Wings of Hope is a non-profit hospice located in Allegan, Michigan. Our service area extends into the surrounding areas and counties. We are looking for licensed hair care volunteers who can provide a haircut service in patient’s homes.

Dignity is something we strive to give all of our patient. Sometimes folks are no longer able to travel outside the home to seek hair care. Other times folks like to plan ahead and get one final haircut in so their family wont have to worry about it after they are gone. Unfortunately sometimes hair care falls to the wayside as families focus on meeting a patients medical needs.

Your volunteer schedule would be completely up to you. Volunteer as often as you are able or when you are available.
