We are seeking dedicated Weekend Sanctuary Care Volunteers to help maintain a clean, healthy, and welcoming environment for our rescued cats.
This role is hands-on and essential to the daily operations of our sanctuary. Volunteers will help ensure that cats live in a clean and comfortable space.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Emptying, cleaning, and refilling litter boxes
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Wiping down walls and cat furniture
- Cleaning feeding and common areas
Ideal volunteers are:
- Comfortable working around cats
- Physically able to lift 40 pounds, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Detail-oriented and safety-conscious
- Able to work independently after training
