    Description

    Weekend Cat Sanctuary Care Volunteer

    We are seeking dedicated Weekend Sanctuary Care Volunteers to help maintain a clean, healthy, and welcoming environment for our rescued cats.

    This role is hands-on and essential to the daily operations of our sanctuary. Volunteers will help ensure that cats live in a clean and comfortable space.

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    • Emptying, cleaning, and refilling litter boxes
    • Sweeping and mopping floors
    • Wiping down walls and cat furniture
    • Cleaning feeding and common areas

    Ideal volunteers are:

      • Comfortable working around cats
      • Physically able to lift 40 pounds, bend, and stand for extended periods
      • Reliable and punctual
      • Detail-oriented and safety-conscious
      • Able to work independently after training
