Volunteer Tracking (Volunteer Position, Part-Time, Remote)

Location: Remote or Tucson-based

Schedule: Flexible, approx. 4 - 5 hours/week

What We’re Looking For:

Our Safe Space is growing fast-and so is our amazing crew of volunteers! We’re looking for a Volunteer Tracking Coordinator to keep things organized as we connect with new folks who want to be part of the magic.

This is a behind-the-scenes but totally essential role. You’ll be the first contact for potential volunteers, helping us match the right people to the right opportunities and making sure no one falls through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, screen, and track incoming volunteer applications from Idealist, LinkedIn, and other sources.
• Organize applicant info in a shared tracking sheet.
• Communicate with potential volunteers via email, updating sheet as status changes
• Communicating with management as needed, so interviews can be scheduled.
• Keeping the status of all volunteers current and accurate.
• Suggest improvements to how we onboard and manage volunteers more efficiently

Qualifications:

• Professional communication skills
• Master of tracking technology (Google Sheets, Excel, etc.)
• Reliable and responsive-people are counting on you!
• Able to maintain clear records
• Genuinely excited about community-building and supporting others
• Database creating and management experience a HUGE bonus!
