Volunteer Opportunity: Head of AI Operations

Help build the future of AI for crime victim advocacy.

White Knight Law is seeking a Volunteer Head of AI Operations to lead the implementation and day-to-day management of artificial intelligence across our nonprofit. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about using AI to improve access to justice, streamline operations, and expand support for crime victims.

You will work directly with leadership to identify opportunities where AI can save time, improve services, automate workflows, and help victims receive faster, more effective support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute White Knight Law’s AI strategy.
• Identify opportunities to automate operational and administrative tasks.
• Build AI-powered workflows, agents, and internal tools.
• Oversee prompt engineering, AI governance, and knowledge management.
• Evaluate and implement AI platforms, APIs, and automation tools.
• Collaborate with legal experts, victim advocates, and technology volunteers to develop AI solutions.
• Ensure AI systems are accurate, secure, ethical, and aligned with the organization’s mission.
• Train volunteers and staff on effective AI usage.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and recommend new capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies.
• Experience building AI workflows, automations, or custom GPTs/agents.
• Familiarity with no-code or low-code automation tools is a plus.
• Strong project management and systems-thinking skills.
• Interest in legal technology, nonprofit innovation, or public interest work.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
